As the country celebrates her 60th year of independence, this song seeks to unite the Church across denominational and generational lines, and inspire a collective heart of worship and anticipation for God's Kingdom. Featuring themes of praise, redemption, revival, and exultation, the song is a powerful anthem and rallying call for believers to arise to lift up the Name of Jesus in their lives and over the land!

    Song story

    At the start of 2025, the Lord impressed on our hearts to write a song with which believers could worship to and sing over Singapore as a prayer for revival. This is especially meaningful as our country celebrates 60 years of independence. The vision of the song was to have believers from various churches, across generational and denominational lines, in the production of the song - both on and off stage.

    One Voice.
    One Worship.

    Close to 300 believers from 77 different churches and organisations, representing every generation from ages 2 to 70+, heeded the call and gathered at Paya Lebar Methodist Church to worship and pray together, and sing this song as a prayer over our country and the Church.

    “Be Lifted High” is a song that invites believers from all walks of life to collectively exalt our Lord Jesus Christ both in our own lives as well as over the land of Singapore. As the country celebrates her 60th year of independence, this song seeks to unite the Church across the nation and inspire a collective heart of worship and anticipation for God’s Kingdom. Featuring themes of praise, redemption, revival, and exultation, the song is a powerful anthem and rallying call for believers to arise to lift up the Name of Jesus in their lives and over the land!

    As the heart behind the song is to unite the Church in worship, the vision of the music video is to visibly demonstrate the unity of the Body of Christ through a big choir comprising people from various churches in Singapore, across denominational lines. Imagine the picture of having the Church unite in worship as the family of God! We would hence like to invite churches leaders, pastors, and members of local worship and music ministries to join the mass choir. The recording will be happening on 3 July 2025 at Paya Lebar Methodist Church.

    Separately, we also would like to invite churches to introduce the song to their local congregations, which can be sung during the National Day season. The idea is to jointly declare God’s Sovereignty and salvation over the land of Singapore during a significant time and milestone year.
